  • The robots can pack 65,000 grocery orders every week.
  • They move along a grid using an air traffic control system to ensure they don't crash into each other.
  • The robots have a top speed of 4 metres per second and are battery operated.

Ocado has released footage from inside its newest automated warehouse in Andover, UK.

The facility is fitted with automated robots that take crates of products to pick stations where picking robots or humans then assemble the orders for shipping.

The robots also replace empty crates allowing the facility to process up to 65,000 orders every week.

They are battery powered and can dock at a charging bay to top up.

Watch the video to see how it all works.
